This year's conference theme, Delivering on our Promise: Impact, Innovation and Integrity, encourages attendees to think more deeply about the multi-faceted issues of accountability, responsibility, transparency and impact for community foundations. The theme is designed to examine the tactics and mechanics of pursuing the public good, serving stakeholders effectively and managing internal operations. Attendees are invited to delve deeper into why accountability is necessary and how the quality and impact of a community foundation's work can be measured.

The 2004 Fall Conference will provide an opportunity to talk about these issues. More than 1,000 community foundation colleagues will gather from around the world to discuss responsibilities and progress. We look forward to seeing you at the Fall Conference as you add your voice to the continuing conversation about philanthropy and preserving the public trust.
