Council on Foundations 2005 Family Foundation Conference
REGISTRATION & HOUSING
The conference will be held at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. Rooms are available at the Loews and the Crowne Plaza next door. To reserve a hotel room, all attendees must register for the conference.

    Multiple Registration Discount
    The multiple registration discount is available to members of the Council. The first three full conference registrants must pay the FULL conference rate ($775) All additional full conference registrants from the same organization will receive the multiple registration rate of $675. All multiple registrations and payments must be received by 12/10/2004.

    New Foundations
    The Family Foundation Conference is an important meeting ground for foundations, and we want to hear the voices of new foundations! As part of our "Building Strong and Ethical Foundations: Doing It Right" program, we're offering a special 1/2 price registration and 1/2 price membership dues rate to non-member new foundations. For specific eligibility information and more details, please contact the COF Membership department at 202/467-0291 or membership@cof.org.
    Cancellation and Cancellation Fees
    Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Fax your cancellation to 202/785-3926 or email confreg@cof.org.

    Fees will be assessed as follows:
    Cancellation through December 12 Full refund minus $100 cancellation fee
    Cancellation from December 13 to January 9 50% of conference fees
    Cancellation on or after January 10 No refund available


    Pending Member
    Non-members must pay non-member registration fees. Pending membership applications or applications sent with the registration form do not qualify for registration at the member rate. If you pay the non-member fee for the conference and your Council membership is approved by December 31, 2005, the difference between member and non-member conference fees will be credited toward your organization's dues payment.     HOTEL RESERVATIONS
    To reserve a hotel room, you must also register for the conference. Before December 10, hotel rooms may be reserved using the conference registration form or the online registration form. Please mark your first and second choices. There is no guarantee that you will get your first choice in hotels, please check your confirmation closely. Council staff will forward your registration to the hotel. After December 10, please call the hotel directly to make your reservation, at which time rooms will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the conference rate. All reservations require a first night's credit card deposit, refundable if cancelled at least 72 hours prior to arrival. You will receive confirmation directly from the hotel approximately 10 days after receipt by the Council.

    Changes or cancellations to your room reservation must be made by sending an email to confreg@cof.org after you receive your confirmation number from the hotel. After December 10th, please call the hotel directly to cancel your room or to make changes.

    Please note: Hotel guests who depart early and do not notify the hotel until after check-in will be charged an early departure fee of $50.
